Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County was a major moment in reality TV history.
The hit MTV show premiered in 2004 and, throughout three seasons, followed a group of Southern California teenagers as they navigated the ups and downs of high school life. All grown up, the cast of the beloved reality series is reuniting, Roku has announced.
Audiences can go back to the beginning with Lauren “LC” Conrad, Kristin Cavallari, Stephen Colletti and more in Roku Presents: The Laguna Beach Reunion, set to debut on The Roku Channel in 2026.
The two-hour, original reunion special will bring the cast together to commemorate 20 years since the series concluded. In celebration of the special gathering, they’ve even shared a throwback of the cast celebrating their prom together.

For the first time since 2006, Conrad, Colletti, Cavallari, who all serve as executive producers on the project, will come together with Lo Bosworth, Talan Torriero, Trey Phillips, Christina Shuller, Dieter Schmitz, Jessica Smith, and Alex Hooser to reflect on the series that forever changed the landscape of reality television.
Fans can look forward to hearing never-before-told behind-the-scenes stories, cast reactions to episodes of the original series, and a present-day return to where it all started – Laguna Beach itself. The reunion special will be available to stream for free on Roku devices or TVs as well as online at TheRokuChannel.com.
“Laguna Beach wasn’t just a television series; it defined a generation of pop culture
and paved the way for the reality genre as we know it,” said Brian Tannenbaum, Head of Roku Originals, Roku Media.
“Reuniting this cast two decades later is a dream, and we are delighted to give streamers a front-row seat to the nostalgia.”
“When I first pitched the show to my bosses at MTV, never in a million years did I think we would find such a perfect group of real friends. The show not only changed my life and the cast’s lives, but the series meant so much to a generation of fans who’ve been waiting for this,” said Liz Gateley, Series Creator. “To partner with Roku to reunite the cast and produce this special with Lauren, Stephen & Kristin as Executive Producers 20 years later is a dream.”
Cavallari recently reunited with some members of the Laguna Beach family on a podcast tour, joking about the situation in the May 5 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
When host Jimmy Fallon asked if it was “fun” to reunite with her Laguna Beach pals, she said, “I don’t know if fun is the right word. It was something….When you get your whole high school crew together, everyone gets nervous, everyone starts drinking.”
“I felt like I was back in high school,” she added. “We get everyone on stage, and the wheels just started falling off.”
