‘Bling Empire’ Stars Kevin Kreider and Devon Diep Are Engaged

Bling Empire star Kevin Kreider has popped the question!

The Netflix personality and his now-fiancée Devon Diep announced on Tuesday, Sept. 23, that they are engaged. In a collaborative Instagram post, the pair posted photos from their trip to Rome, where Kreider, 42, proposed.

The announcement included photos of Kreider down on one knee surrounded by white rose petals and a violinist, as he kissed Diep’s hand. The remaining images included the happy couple lovingly embracing one another. The photos were capped off with a sweet image of Diep showing off her new engagement ring.

“The most powerful question is ‘Will you marry me?’ ” Kreider began the post. 

“3.7 years after our second chance at love, we realize it’s not just about love, it’s about commitment towards each other and choosing to say yes, even when the highs aren’t as high, and we have no idea how low the lows can be,” he wrote. 

Kreider continued, “But when we hit rock bottom, we grew closer to each other and closer to our faith.  We rose out of the chaos and noise, distractions that were pulling us apart to a unity that is stronger because of the tests and trials.”

“We’re happy to announce that we are officially engaged and we did it in style and it was beyond our wildest dreams,” he further shared, before simply concluding, “I can’t wait to marry you ❤️.”

Kreider also added a YouTube video highlighting their proposal, including soundbites of his proposal speech to Diep. In that video, he shared, “When we first met, I know it wasn’t love at first sight, but God had better plans for us. We grew together, separate for a while, but I remember your loyalty, your love for me, your kindness, your heart, your soul.”

“What I know now is that everything I’ve ever done, my accomplishments [have] always been so we can be together and live a life. And thank you for believing in me. Thank you for always being there for me even when we were apart,” he continued.

“I love you for the woman you were and who you are and who you want to be,” Kreider said. “I choose you and it will be my honor if you choose me to be your husband.”

The couple’s relationship has been documented on the final season of Bling Empire, and the pair have been honest about their on-and-off again relationship. 

The pair dated before the series first aired in 2021, but during Kreider’s tenure on the show, he was seen dating around, even attempting to date a couple of his costars, such as Kelly Mi Li and Kim Lee. However, it was in Season 3 that he and Diep rekindled their relationship. 

Bling Empire costar Christine Chiu facilitated their reunion after Kreider told Chiu that he still had feelings for Diep. Chiu then flew Diep to surprise Kreider during their trip to Paris Fashion Week. 

In the years since they have opened up about relationship milestones, from Diep moving from Boston to Los Angeles to Kreider proposing with a promise ring in 2023.

In November 2023, the couple announced that Kreider offered Diep a promise ring. In Kreider’s Instagram post, he said, Diep “is officially my promised girl.” 

“My promise to her is that we might not be where we want to be yet in life, but you are the woman I want on the ride with me,” he wrote at the time. “The ring before the ring! ‘The only diamond ring for the only one’”
