The New York Giants know what Taylor Swift fans want to see!

As the singer’s fiancé Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs traveled to New York to face the Giants at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 21, fans of the superstar were eager to see if she’d make an appearance at the game.

The Giants played into the hype of a potential Swift sighting by playing her song “Welcome to New York” (from her album 1989) and introducing a “Taylor Cam” on the stadium’s Jumbotron.

The camera started to show the back of a blonde woman’s head, leading fans to believe the singer was about to be shown, but that’s when the camera panned to former Giants linebacker, Lawrence “L.T.” Taylor sitting in the stands.

Taylor, 66, was smoking a cigar as he was shown on the big screen. The former linebacker, who played all 13 of his seasons in the NFL with the Giants, stood up and danced a bit and waved to fans as cheers broke out.

The “Taylor Cam” came one week after PEOPLE confirmed Swift attended the Chiefs home opener at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 14. The singer was not photographed at the stadium in the loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, marking the Chiefs’ first 0-2 start to the season since 2014.

The Chiefs got their first win of the week on Sunday in New York, defeating the Giants, 22-9.

Just before halftime, Kelce, 35, was seen in a heated exchange with head coach Andy Reid on the sidelines. The interaction came after Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker — who nearly botched the his first field goal when it hit the upright but fell inside the goal posts, and then made his second — missed on his third attempt of the game from 40 yards out.

Kelce was seen yelling in Reid’s ear after the coach bumped him on the shoulder. “You can sense the frustration on both sides of that story,” Sunday Night Football play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico said as the cameras panned to the Chiefs sideline.

Reid addressed the moment after the game.

“I mean, he’s a passionate guy and I love that part,” the Chiefs coach said. “I’ve been through a lot of things with him, so that’s all part of it. I love that he loves to play the game, that’s what I love. And it’s an emotional game, so I’ll take it.”
