Isabella Strahan is reflecting on how far she’s come since her battle with brain cancer.

On Sept. 16, the 20-year-old daughter of Michael Strahan posted a TikTok video with a compilation of clips from during her lengthy treatment journey and after being declared cancer-free.

Isabella received her diagnosis in October 2023 and underwent emergency surgery to remove a large medulloblastoma — a type of malignant tumor — in her cerebellum. She went through six weeks of radiation, four rounds of chemotherapy and three brain surgeries before announcing in July 2024 that she was cancer-free.

The video shows clips of  Isabella in pain laying in a hospital bed, relearning how to walk and showing off her shaved head following chemotherapy. It then cuts to clips of her going for a run, posing on a mountain top and showing off her first modeling gig post-recovery.

“Living the life I fought for ❤️‍🩹 #recovery #cancer” she captioned the post, pairing the video with the song “The Journey” by H.E.R.

Earlier this year, Isabella opened up about getting active again following her cancer journey. During a March 1 appearance on the Beyond the Battlefront podcast, she revealed what she regrets about her health struggle.

“I lost a lot of weight during my treatments, which was bound to happen because my appetite was out and I was nauseous all the time,” she explained. “But one thing I wish I did was move.”

“I know it’s super hard at times and I did not want to move, but I wish I just made myself walk, even 100 steps a day because I lost so much of my leg muscle,” Isabella said at the time. “It was not funny. It’s not fun to get back because I’m paying for it now trying to work out and everything. I’d tell myself, ‘Move. Move yourself. Drink a lot of water.’ All the health stuff.”
