A firefighter is going viral for serenading a bride and her friends during her bachelorette party.

On Saturday, Sept. 13, Savana Harwood and her friends were playing a card game in Salem, Mass., when one dare instructed the group to ask someone to serenade the bride-to-be, according to WCVB.

The bachelorette party was then left in shock when they asked Salem Fire Department’s Kenny Tejeda, who happened to have a great singing voice.

In a video shared by Salem Ma Firefighters Local 172 on Facebook, Tejada can be seen singing Mario’s 2004 song “Let Me Love You.”

The firefighter showed off his singing skills in a call-and-response style as the ladies finished the sentence to the song’s lyrics.

Harwood was also seen wearing a firefighter jacket with heart sunglasses, as the ladies even broke out into a harmony during the chorus.

“Saturday night (9/13) we had a fun group of young women from North Carolina stop by Headquarters,” the video’s caption read. “They were here to celebrate a Bachelorette party for their friend. They had a bunch of tasks they needed to complete and asked if one of our firefighters could serenade the bride-to-be.”

“Fortunately Group 4 with firefighter Kennys Tejeda aka Cyan Sueño were on duty. Here are the results,” they continued.

Speaking to WCVB, Tejada said, “I could tell how special it was for her in the moment, so I really didn’t want to mess it up.”

“Yeah, it was super surprising because the way that they all harmonized with me, it came out of nowhere,” he added.

“We go to calls where people are at their lowest and most vulnerable. It’s nice to have moments where we can crack a joke and hopefully they crack a smile,” he continued.

Harwood also said, “It was really moving and really sweet. It’s what we all need in the world right now, is a little uplift and a little laughter and a little heartfelt moment with connection and humanity.”
