Cardi B Seemingly Responds to Boyfriend Stefon Diggs Welcoming a Baby

Cardi B is seemingly responding to her boyfriend Stefon Diggs‘ paternity suit.

In an Instagram Live video, the pregnant rapper, 32, may have shared her thoughts on her professional football player boyfriend, 31, potentially being a father to a 5-month-old daughter with model Aileen Lopera. In a recent Instagram Live video, she references Shirley Brown’s 1974 song “Woman to Woman,” where Brown talks about a woman calling her husband’s mistress.

“Hello, Barbara, this is Shirley,” she said. “That’s your baby daddy, bitch? That’s my baby daddy, too.”

The “Bodak Yellow” artist continued, “Well, what now? I don’t f—— know. We’ll figure it out, bitch.”

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE last week, the New England Patriots wide receiver is being accused by Lopera, who goes by Lord Gisselle on Instagram, of fathering a baby girl, who was born this past April. She first filed documents against Diggs to determine a parental relationship of her unborn baby in December 2024, when she was pregnant.

“Petitioner is currently pregnant with [Diggs’] unborn child,” the filing read. At the time, Lopera requested legal and physical custody of their baby, but gave Diggs visitation rights.

Diggs filed a response to the suit, contesting that the baby is his. He requested genetic testing to determine whether or not he is the father.

He also wrote in the documents that if it is determined that he is the father, he requests joint legal and physical custody, as well as joint payment of “reasonable expenses” of pregnancy, birth and attorney fees and costs.

The documents also revealed that Lopera had named her baby daughter Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, giving her the professional athlete’s last name. The U.S. Sun was first to report this story.

“My client looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs acknowledges and provides for his infant daughter in Los Angeles,” Lopera’s attorney, Tamar G. Arminak, told PEOPLE.

Reps for Diggs did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Diggs is also dad to an 8-year-old daughter named Nova, who was born in October 2016. Cardi shares her three kids — daughter Kulture Kiari, 7, son Wave Set, 4, and daughter Blossom Belle, whom she welcomed in September 2024, with estranged husband Offset.

The news came a day after Cardi B shared that she’s pregnant with her fourth baby, her first with Diggs, due before her tour launches in February.

“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs,” Cardi told anchor Gayle King, in a pre-taped interview for CBS Mornings.

“I’m happy,” continued Cardi. “I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work — but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”

Cardi and Diggs have been linked since October 2024. In May 2025, the pair made their first public appearance together at a Boston Celtics and New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden, after months of attending the same events, but arriving separately.
