The wolf pack might run again soon.
Teen Wolf actor Tyler Posey spoke with PEOPLE at the Los Angeles premiere for London Calling on Monday, Sept. 15, acknowledging that “everybody wants more” when it comes to the hit teen drama, including him.
“We did a film for Paramount a few years ago now, and originally it was a three-picture deal, and then it sort of abandoned ship after the first movie. But everybody wants more,” Posey, 33, says.
“So I wrote the second film. I’m trying to get that one made, and then I have an idea for the third,” he continues. “Or we’re just going to do a TV series, but there will be more, and I’m going to spearhead it. I want it really bad.”

Teen Wolf: The Movie was released in 2023, but Posey believes there’s still more left to tell. In fact, the Queen of the Ring actor says his script for the sequel film is all “ready to go” as he “wrote it a few years ago.”
While he admits the old script will “probably need a couple rewrites,” he teases that it is “really cool” and “the concept is amazing.”
“I was the leader of the cast. Now I want to be the leader for the entire project. I feel like I know what the fans want, and I want to deliver it for them,” he shares. “They’ve been amazing to us over the years, and I want to give it to them.”

When asked about the cast, he replied, “We definitely have some people on board.”
Posey notes that Teen Wolf is still by far the project he gets recognized for the most, but he “loves it.”
“I want to continue it. Me and all the fans and a lot of the actors feel like it was halted at a time where we should have kept it going. So I think there’s more to come,” he adds.
Recently, there was a mini Teen Wolf reunion when Posey ran into Dylan O’Brien, who played his best friend Stiles on the TV show but did not appear in the 2023 movie.
“I ran into my really good friend Dylan O’Brien for his film Twinless, which is phenomenal. That’s always an amazing time. We’re really good friends, and used to live with each other for years when we were younger, and so it’s that’s always really special,” Posey says of seeing his former costars.
Teen Wolf ran for six seasons on MTV from 2011 to 2017. Posey played Scott McCall, a normal teen trying to navigate his way through high school until he was bitten by a werewolf, thrusting him further into the supernatural events happening in the fictional town of Beacon Hills.
In addition to Posey and O’Brien, the series also starred Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, Crystal Reed, Linden Ashby, JR Bourne, Colton Haynes, Arden Cho, Ryan Kelley, Melissa Ponzio, Ian Bohen, Vince Mattis, Nobi Nakanishi, Khylin Rhambo, Amy Workman and Dylan Sprayberry.
Teen Wolf is available to stream on Hulu.
