The Dime Lash Primer Makes Mine Look Long and Full

I’ve had a love affair with mascara since my mom first let me apply it in the sixth grade.

It always makes me look more awake and my eyes appear bigger with it on. What I didn’t know when I reached for my first tube in middle school was the world of eyelash-related products that enhance the effects of mascara, including curlers, serums, and primers.

I’ll admit I was skeptical when Dime sent me its Lash Primer to test in August. I’ve tried more than 10 other products that claim to deliver long, thick lashes, only to abandon them after subpar results. With just one application of this primer, I knew I was adding it to my makeup bag. My lashes appear so much fuller and longer that it looks like I’m wearing falsies — minus the itchiness and stress of applying glue.

Using the primer is simple. It comes in a tube that looks identical to mascara, except the wand is covered with the white formula, which is applied from root to tip. I’ve found that just one coat is sufficient in seeing my desired results. After letting my lashes dry, which takes about a minute, I swipe on mascara as I normally do for more voluminous lashes. Dime recommends using its Volume Mascara with the primer, but it also works well with the options I already have in my collection.

Since I love the look of long lashes, I’ve relied on drugstore falsies before, but they were difficult to apply and I had to keep repurchasing them. After using this $34 solution, I’m committed to growing my lashes longer thanks to ingredients that are scientifically proven to boost their appearance. It’s made with peptides, known to immediately make lashes appear thicker and healthier. But even more exciting is the amino acid blend that works to strengthen and lengthen my lashes after continued use.

I’m not the only one who is a fan of the primer. One shopper said they were impressed that their mascara “doesn’t clump together” or “flake off” when using the primer. Another customer said they saw a “huge difference” in their lashes since using it, adding that they look “fuller and longer.” They also noted that their mascara applies more evenly and doesn’t clump, and I agree — my lashes no longer stick together, which is a huge benefit.

If longer and fuller lashes are on your wish list, snag the primer from Dime, and keep scrolling to shop more lash-boosting products.
