Money is on the menu for the latest MasterChef winners, Jessica Bosworth and Jesse Rosenwald.

MasterChef season 15 was best known as MasterChef: Dynamic Duos, thanks to the 24 contestants who were paired into 12 teams. But the pairings weren’t at random; each team consisted of two individuals who had a close relationship, including romantic partners, siblings, best friends and even exes.

Throughout the cooking competition show’s recent installment, which premiered on Fox in May 2025, the aspiring cooks went through audition rounds and challenges to try to impress longtime MasterChef judges Gordon Ramsay and Joe Bastianich and newcomer Tiffany Derry.

In the end, three pairings were left (a total of six contestants), including Rachel Sanchez with Julio Figueredo and Tina Duong with Aivan Tran. When everything was cooked and presented, Bosworth and Rosenwald’s appetizer, entrée and dessert stood out from the crowd, and they walked away with the grand prize.

With that, the longtime partners were crowned the first duo to win MasterChef. In honor of the historic victory, which aired in September 2025, here’s everything to know about what the MasterChef winner prize entails.

The winner of MasterChef receives a grand prize of $250,000.

The season 11 winner, Kelsey Murphy, won the cash prize, coveted trophy and a complete set of Viking kitchen appliances, including a refrigerator and stove, per the company’s website.

Several champions have also gone on to publish cookbooks after their time on the show, and certain seasons have included releasing a cookbook as part of the prize package, per ScreenRant.

Miller (season 1), Christine Há (season 3), Luca Manfé (season 4), Claudia Sandoval (season 6) and Shaun O’Neal (season 7) have authored cookbooks.

The winners of MasterChef have used their winnings for various projects related to their culinary careers.

In September 2019, season 10 winner Dorian Hunter told Parade that she planned on using the $250,000 to open a restaurant.

Aside from money, Hunter earned the opportunity to train at restaurants owned by the judges — Ramsay, Bastianich and Aarón Sánchez — which she confessed was “way bigger than the money.”

“This year, with everything they are giving out to the person who wins, it outweighs the money,” she continued. “You can’t put a price on the training you are going to get out of each of these chefs’ restaurants.”

MasterChef season 15 winners Bosworth and Rosenwald told Gold Derby that they hope to use their joint prize to establish a brick-and-mortar location to sell their South Shore Bar Pies “to the masses.”

“We also want to launch an Italian provisions shop with an artisanal sandwich counter,” Rosenwald said. “Jess is the sauce queen — pestos, aiolis, vodka sauce. We have lots of ideas brewing.”
