How ‘exhausted’ Jen Affleck is handling ‘Dancing With the Stars’ 2 months postpartum
Jen Affleck is “trying to find balance” while competing on “Dancing With the Stars” as a mom of three.
Following Tuesday’s premiere night, the “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star — who gave birth to her youngest child in July — exclusively admitted to Page Six that she is “physically exhausted.”
The Hulu personality, 26, confirmed, “It is a lot.”
She broke down her schedule, explaining, “I am working out half the day [and] coming home exhausted, but I’ve got three babies to take care of.
“I’ve gotta cook, clean and do all the normal things you do as a mom,” Affleck continued. “But that’s how you know I’m a mom. Us moms, we just do it.”
The reality star’s pro partner, former Eras Tour dancer Jan Ravnik, chimed in to clarify that although Affleck says she is “tired,” she has been “killing it.”
The 30-year-old gushed, “She’s one of a kind.”
He and Affleck performed a spicy salsa set to Bad Bunny’s “NUEVAYoL” in the ballroom Tuesday night, marking both of their “DWTS” debuts.
“It was so much fun,” the MomTok star told us of the experience. “I’m on cloud nine. I was so stressed.”
She noted, “I’m so used to dancing on my countertops where it’s just my three babies watching me, and the fact that there are millions of people watching me is kind of crazy. I tried to block that out and pretend it was just my babies.”
The social media star is the mother of daughter Nora, 3, son Lucas, 2, and daughter Penelope, 2 months, with her husband, Zac Affleck.
She and Zac, 29, have been married since 2019.
Jen, who is so “grateful” for “the village … supporting” her, received a total score of 12/20 Tuesday night from judges Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli. (Carrie Ann Inaba did not judge the premiere night performances as she skipped the show due to an illness.)
Her “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” co-star Whitney Leavitt is also a Season 34 contestant and received a 15/20 for her and Mark Ballas’ tango to “Golden” by HUNTR/X.
Leavitt, 32, also chatted with Page Six after the show, and gave us some scoop on the upcoming third season of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” out Nov. 13.
“A lot of questions that people had from the ending of Season 2, we’re gonna get some answers,” she promised. “It’s gonna be great.”
Affleck, for her part, teased “a lot of drama” and “a lot of chaos,” as well as a “better, happier version of” herself.
“Dancing With the Stars” returns next Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+, with new episodes streaming on Hulu the following day.
