Aaron Tveit and Ericka Yang are officially husband and wife.
The couple hosted a quintessential New York City wedding for their family and friends on June 22, 2025, according to a September 2025 Vogue feature. One of Tveit’s favorite moments from the day was walking down the aisle with his daughter, whom he and Yang welcomed in November 2024.
The Tony winner and Yang first sparked dating rumors when they worked on Broadway’s Moulin Rouge! in 2019, but they didn’t go public with their relationship until years later.
While Tveit has starred opposite many leading ladies on the screen and stage over the years — including Blake Lively on Gossip Girl and Sutton Foster in Sweeney Todd — the actor has been more private about his real-life romance with Yang.
“At the end of the day, I just don’t see why anyone would be interested in what I do outside my work,” the actor previously told New York Theater Guide in September 2022 about why he doesn’t overshare on social media.
So, who is Aaron Tveit’s wife? Here’s everything to know about Ericka Yang and her relationship with her fellow Broadway star.
She’s Canadian

Yang is originally from Ottawa, Canada, where she got involved in the arts at a young age, acting in local theater productions and attending an arts-based high school.
Her love for performing clearly runs in her family as her older sister Vanessa started dancing at the age of 3 and her younger brother Warren Yang was an avid gymnast. Like Yang, her brother is also a Broadway actor, having previously appeared in King Kong and Miss Saigon; he shared the stage with his sister in the latter.
“It was a very special time for me to share that with my sister,” he told Playbill in July 2019 of working with his sister in the ensemble. “We’ve always been close, but our professions never crossed until that moment. Broadway, theater, performing was her world — I was lucky to have her guidance during that time.”
She got her start as a Radio City Rockette
At age 17, Yang auditioned for the Radio City Rockettes, which ended up being her big break in the industry.
“I went for the experience,” Yang told Playbill, “and ended up with my first professional job.”
She made her Broadway debut when she was 20

After joining the Toronto company of the Lion King and being a featured dancer in the ABC/Disney movie The Music Man, Yang got another big break at age 20 as she made her Broadway debut in the original revival cast of Flower Drum Song.

Since her Broadway debut, she has appeared in a variety of shows, including 42nd Street, Doctor Zhivago, American Psycho, Rock of Ages, Miss Saigon and Moulin Rouge!.
While performing in the ensemble for Broadway’s Moulin Rouge!, Yang met and connected with Tveit, who was starring as Christian. The couple was first linked in July 2019, when they were seen cuddling up for photos during the show’s opening night party.
However, they didn’t go public with their romance until years later when Tveit wished her a happy birthday on Instagram in May 2021.
“My favorite picture of you. My favorite smile,” he captioned a photo of Yang laughing as he gave her a kiss on the cheek. “Happy Birthday @erickahunter I love you!”

After going Instagram official in May 2021, the two made their red carpet debut as a couple in September 2021 at the Tony Awards, where Tveit was up for (and eventually won) best performance by an actor in a leading role in a musical for Moulin Rouge!.
“So proud of our show…and especially proud of my man ❤️,” Yang captioned a collection of photos of her and Tveit at the event. Tveit also gave Yang a shoutout during his speech, thanking her for her “love and support and always putting up with me.”
Ahead of the award show, Tveit revealed to Popsugar that Yang gave him a special gift to celebrate his first Tony nomination.
“I got a wonderful piece of jewelry from my girlfriend in the fall when I got nominated for a Tony Award. It was very, very meaningful,” he told the publication.

Roughly seven months after becoming first-time parents, Tveit and Yang became husband and wife.
The couple wed on June 22, 2025, at The Milling Room in N.Y.C., surrounded by friends and family, including their officiant, Broadway actress Jenifer Foote, and Broadway actor Justin Johnston, who served as the DJ.
Yang walked down the aisle in a vintage Oscar de la Renta gown, while Tveit donned a classic Berluti tuxedo.
“[Our daughter] is the reason we decided to have a wedding,” the Graceland actor told Vogue. “We wanted to celebrate our love with our people.”
Yang added, “We are so happy we made it happen — and also happy to be back to our quiet lives for the time being.”
