Halle Berry can’t keep her paws off cute kittens.
The 59-year-old actress, who starred as the leading lady in 2004’s Catwoman, revealed in a new social media post that she now has three felines who have found their way to her home.
“I told you I was the real Catwoman! Another lil angel showed up in my yard! Please help me name him. He’s 3 weeks old and lots of fun!” Berry captioned a Sunday, Sept. 14 Instagram post.
Her carousel began with a photo of the Academy Award-winning actress sitting on the floor, out of frame so that the camera mostly captured her hands holding the black and white kitten up to the lens.
A small portion of Berry’s smile could be seen in the top right corner of the image, behind her furry friend’s whiskers as she sat on the floor of her home in black silk pajamas.
She took two more photos proudly holding the tiny kitten, and then shared two pictures of it playing inside of a colorful toy tunnel.
“That is too sweet 💕 Prayers that he/she finds a home as soon as possible,” a fan wrote in the comments.
Berry wasted no time letting it be known that the kitten was well taken care of.
“He’s found one…MINE!” the actress replied, adding a single red heart emoji.
Name suggestions included, “HALLE PURRY,” and “Perry! Cos he cares early about women in Perimenopause,” as Berry has been vocal about keeping her followers informed on the transition period between a woman’s reproductive years and menopause.
Another person suggested that she name the feline “Batman.”
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly in July 2024, Berry reflected on how taking on the role of the DC Comics character “changed” her, even decades later.

“I became a cat lover because of it,” said the X-Men star, whom EW described as a “self-proclaimed, lifelong dog person.”
“I just rescued four kitties I found in my yard three weeks ago,” she continued. “I’m a catwoman through and through, because of that experience and those relationships. That experience changed me.”
Berry also told the outlet that she was given a cat named “Playdough” during the film’s production.

“I watched, studied and learned how cats think. I didn’t have the responsibility of children and family; I was just a woman alone with a lot of idle time to focus on this,” she said. “I’d crawl around my house, trying to jump on my counters, thinking, ‘If I were a cat, how would I get up there?’ I was in it 24/7.”
The John Wick actress, who has two Labradoodles, also revealed in June 2024 that she became a cat mom to Boots and Coco after finding the pair, along with their mom and two siblings, in her yard.
“I got the mommy spayed and released her back in my yard and she’s now our outdoor cat and the other 2 babies I’ve found a forever home for and these two are our new lovies,” she said via Instagram at the time.
