Chrishell Stause is switching things up.

On Tuesday, Sept. 16, the reality star, 44, unveiled a dramatic hair transformation for fall courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton.

In a video shared to Instagram, Stause tells the hairstylist, “Okay, it’s time, I want to chop my hair for the fall. I brought the Shark Glam to help us style.”

Appleton, 42, assures her that there are tons of “amazing styles you’re still going to be able to do with the short hair” using the new styling tool from Shark.

After cutting her long hair just below her shoulders, Appleton shows the Selling Sunset star how the tool can style hair using the wet-to-dry mode. After creating a straight and silky look, Strause requests a “big, bouncy blowout” using the Shark Glam’s Glossi attachment.

“I feel like a pin-up bombshell,” the star says after Appleton completes her look, which is full of bouncy waves. “I love this hair.”

“You can do straight and sleek, you can do big and bombshell.” Appleton concludes.

Fans in the comments are loving the new hairstyle on Stause.

“Wow! 🔥This look on you is SO good! I need to try this shark tool!” one wrote.

“You look like a movie star ⭐ Absolutely fabulous 🔥,” said another.

A third added, “OMG! This suits you sooo much! Stunning ✨️”

Stause previously debuted a lob haircut at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards.

The star walked the red carpet with partner G Flip, showing off her shorter style which she paired with a latex dress.

In September, G Flip (who is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns) told PEOPLE why they and Stause decided to have multiple weddings since the couple announced they were married in May 2023.

According to the Australian musician, the tradition began because the pair’s first wedding “was so shotgun that my family got three hours’ notice.” Since that wasn’t enough time for family and some friends to fly to the U.S., they said they would do a second wedding.

“Then we did another one, but then my family couldn’t make it, and they were like, ‘Well, will you do an Australian one?’ And then I was like, ‘Yep, we’ll do an Australian one,’ ” they say.
