Giants defense should have never let it come to this
ARLINGTON — Et tu, defense?
Yup.
Leave it to the Team That Cannot Win to flip the script and turn up to down, light to dark and losing to, well, more losing; this time, with a twist.
One week after the Giants opened their season with a showing on offense so undesirable that it seemed to shake the equilibrium of the entire fan base, that same team looked like an aerial circus. One week after Russell Wilson looked as if he should be ushered out the door, he turned back the clock with a vintage performance. And when one of his high-lofted throws came down into the waiting arms of Malik Nabers, the Giants had a 37-34 lead inside stunned AT&T Stadium with only 25 seconds remaining to finally end a near-decade worth of losing to the despised Cowboys.
