Travis Kelce’s shorts suit splits fans ahead of Chiefs vs. Eagles game
Travis Kelce turned heads while stepping out in a preppy shorts suit ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles game on Sunday.
The tight end arrived at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City wearing a navy blue Thom Browne look comprised of a gold-buttoned blazer, matching shorts, a white button-down and a tie.
He accessorized with Thom Browne oxford shoes and square-shaped Dita sunglasses that retail for over $1,000.
The Chiefs shared a video of Kelce’s entrance, captioning it, “SUIT & TIE TRAV 👔.”
Fans, however, were divided on whether they liked the NFL star’s attire.
“Prep School boy look coming in hot 🔥,” one person wrote, as another gushed, “Always with the best fits!”
“@killatrav is standing on business today! 📣🐂🏹,” a third added.
“Business on top. Party on bottom,” a fan said.
Others poked fun at Kelce, 35, saying, “When you have a game at 3:25 and then must report to boarding school at 7 [p.m.].”
“Looks like hes bouta go perform for the School of Rock😭,” a critic wrote, referring to the 2003 Richard Linklater-directed film featuring Jack Black as a prep school teacher.
“When Travis forgets to bring pants for Travis,” another quipped — referencing the time Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, forgot to purchase the appropriate shorts to participate in the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament in July 2024.
At the time, the retired athlete’s wife, Kylie Kelce, came to the rescue with the proper pair.
Kelce arrived in a hand-embroidered KidSuper suit at the Chiefs’ season opener in Brazil on Sept. 5.
He’s incorporated the streetwear brand into several of his other tunnel ‘fits in the past.
Like or loathe his latest look, one thing’s for sure: Kelce knows how to start conversations with his style.
