Elderly man stabbed to death by relative inside NYC home: sources

A 76-year-old man was fatally stabbed by a relative inside his Queens home Saturday night, police and sources said. 

The kin allegedly knifed John Muraco in the chest around 11:40 p.m. in his home on 102nd Street near 159th Avenue in Howard Beach, according to cops.

Police responded to a 911 call for an assault and found the senior citizen dead.  

The relative was nabbed at the scene and charges are pending. 

The motive of the attack is unknown, police said.
