24-Year-Old Missing After Last Seen on Doorbell Camera

A 24-year-old man who may be in medical distress has been missing for two days.
Logan Sampson was last seen on a doorbell camera at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7, at his residence on Bernas Lane in New Prague, Minn., according to a New Prague Police Department news release.
Sampson is said to be traveling on foot and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black jogger pants, per the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
His mother, Nicole Tietz, told Fox 9 that he was hospitalized after a seizure two weeks ago. “He’s never taken off like this before, so it’s mind-boggling,” she told the outlet.
His father, Rob Sampson, added to CBS News that Logan has only had two seizures, but could be vulnerable without his medication. He also explained that after seizures, Logan “gets disoriented and has memory loss, gets confused and does strange things.”

Despite that, Logan’s family believes there is no reason he would hurt himself and that he does not have access to guns.
Logan’s cousin, Sophie Camilli, said that when they inform people he’s missing, “they ask what his mental state is,” per CBS News. “For certain, know he’s not angry, not a threat to anyone, just lost.”
On Monday, Sept. 8, Camilli and hundreds of others began a search for Logan. A Facebook page was created to provide updates on the search.
The New Prague police asked the nearby public to check their security cameras for any sign of Logan. The authorities obtained a search warrant on Sept. 8 to search his home for potential leads to his whereabouts.
