Why Was Jordon Hudson’s Purse Full of Crumpled Papers at Bill Belichick’s UNC Games?
NEED TO KNOW
- Jordon Hudson’s game-day outfits to support Bill Belichick have included one puzzling detail — a purse full of crumpled-up papers
- Hudson’s mysterious accessory may have been a cryptic statement, considering her previous social media posts
- Belichick’s Tar Heels lost 48-14 on Sept. 1, before getting their first win of the season on five days later
Jordon Hudson turned heads at the Tar Heels’ first two games of the season as she supported her boyfriend Bill Belichick in his debut with the team, but one puzzling detail of her look went unnoticed to most.
The 24-year-old former cheerleader sported a white tank top and blue snakeskin pants for the first game of the season, adding a red lip and a clear bag, per stadium rules.
But instead of her keys or a wallet and lip gloss, Hudson’s purse was stuffed with crumpled-up pieces of paper. In photos of her at the game, multiple angles appear to show that the papers were the only contents of Hudson’s bag.
Some of the papers appear to have highlighted words, though they couldn’t be made out clearly.

At UNC’s second game of the season against UNC-Charlotte on Saturday, Sept. 6, Hudson changed up her wardrobe, but kept the purse.
Belichick’s girlfriend often seems to send subtle messages through her wardrobe, public appearances and social media posts. She often uses the snake emoji, a-la Taylor Swift, and she incorporates the singer’s music into her social presence as well.
An April 13 post of Hudson standing in front of a window, wearing snakeskin, has no caption, and in a response to the backlash from her interjecting in Belichick’s CBS interview, Hudson cryptically shared a screenshot of an email chain with producers and wrote, “Statement coming soon.” That statement never arrived, and the caption of the post now reads, “Read it closer this time.”
The first sighting of Hudson at UNC also saw her in blue snakeskin at an April practice.

Hudson showed her support for Belichick as the Tar Heels took on Texas Christian University on Sept. 1 in North Carolina. The pageant queen was seen in a box during the game and on the field talking to Belichick as the Tar Heels suffered a frustrating loss, losing the game 48-14.

Five days later, the Tar Heels faced an easier, nearby rival in UNC-Charlotte grabbed a 20-3 win, Belichick’s first as a college coach.
Days before the kickoff of the football season, Hudson excitedly posted Belichick’s announcement that the UNC football team would be featured in a new Hulu docuseries. She also documented the news by posting a photo of herself on the field with Belichick, wearing a snakeskin Tar Heel blue jacket and blowing a kiss over her shoulder.
Tagging @everwonder.studio @hulu @disneyplus in the caption, the post also included audio from Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do,” a possible nod to rumors that her reported “demands” led HBO to scrap a UNC-focused season of the docuseries Hard Knocks.
