Buying Beverly Hills star Alexia Umansky is officially married!
The real estate agent — who is the daughter of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky — tied the knot with Jake Zingerman in a “romantic midnight garden”-themed wedding on Sept. 6 in Los Angeles. Among the 250 guests were Richards’ costars Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne and Teddi Mellencamp.
Umansky and Zingerman got engaged in November 2024, but their relationship started decades earlier as childhood friends.
“20 years of friendship. 12 years of best friendship. 5 years in a relationship. And now… husband and wife?!!! For the rest of our lives?!!” Umansky wrote in a November 2024 post celebrating their fifth anniversary. “Piece of cake… we’ve been doing this 😌.”
So who is Alexia Umansky’s husband? Here’s everything to know about Jake Zingerman and his relationship with the reality star.

Though they may have started dating in 2019, the couple have known each other since they were little kids. In December 2024, Richards revealed to Parade that they met “in second or third grade” and have always been “so sweet together.”
“We‘ve gone to school together since elementary school through college,” the Buying Beverly Hills star wrote on her Instagram Stories in July 2024, per BravoTV. “We were best friends the whole time. We got especially close in 10th grade when we turned 16, got cars, and were able to drive around town. Every day was a fun adventure.”
While the relationship didn’t become romantic until later on, Umansky and Zingerman spent nearly every waking moment together in high school. “I used to make him sleep in his car outside my house because boys weren’t allowed to sleep over,” she continued. “We hung out every day from morning till night.”
Older photos on Zingerman’s Instagram page show them hanging out as teenagers.

The duo’s relationship turned romantic in November 2019. However, it took a long time for the couple to admit their feelings to one another, as they were nervous of ruining their friendship.
“When we first started having feelings for each other and we didn’t want to admit it, it was just one of those things where we would feel that way and think that way, and it was in the back of our head and it was so scary to say something,” Umansky told PEOPLE in September 2025. “It felt reckless to say I loved him because of all of the dynamics between our friend groups and how real our friendship was, and he really was my No. 1 best friend.”
In November 2024, Umansky celebrated their fifth anniversary with a touching Instagram video that highlighted moments from their relationship, from vacations to cooking together. The video even started with their very first kissing photo.
“Happy 5-Year Anniversary, my angel. I love you,” she captioned the post. “Thank you for loving me 🫂🤍.”

In July 2023, the couple took a big —and permanent — step in their relationship by seemingly getting matching tattoos.
In a friend’s reposted Instagram Story, which was screenshotted by BravoTV, an arm tagged with Zingerman’s handle features a tattoo with three thin black lines.
Next to the arm, an ankle — where Umansky is tagged — shows off a tattoo with four thin black lines.

Umansky moved back in with her parents after graduating from Emerson College in Boston in 2018. In a 2021 Instagram Story per BravoTV, she explained the choice, saying, “I love my house and my family and my room… I’d like to save up for something that’s really special.”
In January 2024, she seemed to find that spot with Zingerman. At the time, she reposted an Instagram Story from her friend showing off a living room with orange mood lighting, a spiral staircase and a brown bean bag chair.
“@alexiaumansky and @jakezingerman new cozy little 🏠,” the caption read.

Zingerman popped the question in November 2024. The real estate agent revealed the news in several Instagram Stories which showed the couple holding bottles of champagne and Umansky displaying her new diamond ring.
The next day, Umasnky posted a video of the day leading up to the proposal, including going to a romantic dinner before returning to their home, which was filled with candles and flowers. Their cat, Sashimi, even wore a bowtie for the occasion.
Umansky subsequently unboxed a SusieCakes creation that read, “Sashimi’s Parents Are Getting Married!”
Following the announcement, Richards told Parade she believed Umansky and Zingerman were “definitely soulmates.”
“They’re just the sweetest couple,” she continued. “I’m so grateful that I’m going to have a son-in-law. I can’t believe it.”

The couple wed on Sept. 6, 2025, in a “romantic midnight garden”-themed wedding in Los Angeles.
Umansky told PEOPLE at the time that she wanted her wedding to have a darker aesthetic — comparing it to the fictional Night Court in Sarah J. Maas‘ A Court of Thorns and Roses fantasy romance series — so the reception featured “a lot of dark, rich, romantic jewel tones and sparkles.”
The wedding weekend featured a “small, intimate” rehearsal dinner in Umansky’s family’s backyard and a Shabbat hosted by Umansky and Zingerman’s rabbi, who works at the elementary school where the couple met.
Umansky walked down the aisle escorted by both of her parents as a string quartet played a cover of “Moon River.” She wore a skirt and bustier designed by Danielle Frankel. The couple later shared their first dance to Lola Marsh’s “Something Stupid.”

Though Umansky grew up on-screen as Richards’ daughter, she became a reality star in her own right in November 2022 when her series Buying Beverly Hills premiered on Netflix. Zingerman was on Umansky’s arm for the release event.
“Proud is an understatement,” he wrote on Instagram beside photos of the event. “It makes me beyond happy to see all the positive feedback you’ve gotten over these past few days. You deserve that and MORE. I know it wasn’t easy and I know all the work you’ve put in this — but now look at you go sweetheart 💥🍾❤️.”
In March 2024, Zingerman appeared on season 2 of the Netflix show, and Umansky was “excited” for fans to get to know her man a little better.
“So much of my life is already out there, and there’s nothing I would change about my life,” she told Entertainment Tonight in March 2024. “I have no regrets, and my relationship is amazing … everything that we’re going through is human.”

Umansky’s parents are completely on board with her relationship. “We love Jake,” Mauricio told Entertainment Tonight in March 2024. “He’s awesome.”
Richards agrees. “They are a very, very, very cute couple and they’re great together,” she said in a June 2024 Amazon livestream. “And we just love him so much.”
For his part, Zingerman is also family-oriented. He often posts photos with his two siblings, parents and grandparents along with sweet messages about how much he loves them.
He talked about how much he looks up to his brother, Josh Zingerman, in an Instagram post for his birthday in September 2017.
“My other half,” he wrote in the caption. “Your light and wisdom inspires me everyday and I don’t know where I’d be without you. You’ve always been there for me and I’ll always be there for you. So proud of you.”
