Landon Barker and Skyla Sanders Make Red Carpet Debut at 2025 MTV VMAs

Landon Barker and girlfriend Skyla Sanders brought the heat to their red carpet debut.

On Sept. 7, the couple made their relationship read carpet official at the 2025 MTV VMAs, where they not only packed on the PDA but also turned heads in their coordinating skin-baring looks.

Barker, who’s the 21-year-old son of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler (and stepson of Kourtney Kardashian), showed off his chest tattoos by going shirtless under his beaded blazer, which he paired with flared trousers.

Sanders, the 20-year-old daughter of director Rupert Sanders and English model Liberty Ross, wore a strapless black bodycon dress with sheer side panels and a lace bodice. Furry heels tied the look together while her hair was styled in a side-parted look.

The two stuck close to each other’s sides while posing for the cameras, even deciding to share a smooch to celebrate the exciting night.

The pair made their Instagram debut on May 3 with Barker sharing a sweet photo of himself and Sanders in an embrace.

“The inhale when you let it in!” he captioned the post, which received supportive comments from the Blink-182 drummer and Kardashians star, who wrote, “cuties.”

Barker was previously linked to Charli D’Amelio for over a year, although the two called it quits in February 2024. “Hey everyone, I would like to let you guys know that Charli and I are no longer together,” Landon announced on his Instagram Stories. “We broke up to focus on ourselves.”

“We are still friends and have so much love for each other,” he added of his status with the & Juliet actress. “I am incredibly grateful for the time we shared and hope you can respect our decisions.”

The now-exes were very public with their love throughout their relationship, attending red carpets together, fronting magazine covers and even documenting their matching tattoos. D’Amelio also starred in the music video for Barker’s debut single, “Friends with Your EX” in 2023.

Brandon and Sanders were in good company at this year’s MTV VMAs, which was filled with loved-up couples taking date night to the star-studded event. Host LL Cool J was joined by his wife, Simone I. Smith, while Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson, J. Balvin and Valentina Ferrer and Alex Warren and Kouvr Annon were also in attendance.

The 2025 MTV VMAs air live from New York’s UBS Arena on Sunday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and MTV. The ceremony will also stream on Paramount+.
