Dean McDermott is sharing a look into his and Tori Spelling’s finances amid their ongoing divorce.
The 58-year-old submitted an income and expense declaration on Friday, Sept. 5, revealing his average expenses and debts. According to documents obtained by PEOPLE, McDermott makes around $3800 per month from his rehabilitation center, Conscious Community & Vanity Recovery, while he claims that Spelling, 52, earns between $3000 to $75,000 per month “depending on the job.”
McDermott also cites a $0 income from acting and producing jobs, which he says “decreased drastically” in the past year due to the “SAG/AFTRA strikes and change in the industry.”
McDermott claims to be $215,700 in debt as well.
Of that number are three overdue payments on a $200,000 loan with City National Bank and credit card debts of $2,500 to Capital One and $12,000 to Care Credit. Additionally, McDermott owes $1200 for dental work.
He states that he lives with his girlfriend, Lily Calo, who has a monthly income of $600 and does not contribute to their total $3980 monthly expenses.
The filing further reveals that the four minor children that McDermott and Spelling share — they also have an 18-year-old son named Liam — are with the actress 90% of the time. The Canadian native receives custodial time with their youngest son, Beau, 8, on the first, third and fifth weekends of every month.
In 2024, Spelling and McDermott were sued by City National Bank for $400,000 over a judgement regarding a 12-year-old bank loan.
The banking establishment filed a second writ of execution against the estranged couple to enforce a 2017 judgment after they allegedly defaulted on the $400,000 loan they took out in 2012 with interest, per court documents obtained by PEOPLE.
The filing stated that Spelling owed $219,836.66 at that time, while McDermott was responsible for the other $202,086.10, including the fees for the issuance of the writ.
That was the third time City National Bank attempted to collect its loan from the couple. The establishment initially sued them for their outstanding balance in 2016, which resulted in a court decision entered against the couple in 2017, and later filed paperwork against the duo in a first attempt to enforce the judgment in 2019.
This came after Spelling and McDermott were slapped with a tax lien for $259,108.23 by the state of California in 2016 for unpaid taxes in 2014. Spelling was also sued earlier that year by American Express for failing to pay her outstanding credit card balance of $37,981.97 since the summer of 2015.
She addressed the financial troubles with PEOPLE in 2018: “We’re not perfect, we have made a lot of choices financially with real estate that didn’t work out … and that just escalated into this story about financial struggles, bankruptcy. To this day that haunts me! We’re not bankrupt, we’re not struggling, we’re fine!”
Spelling filed for divorce from McDermott after 18 years of marriage in March 2024, citing their date of separation in June 2023.
Later that year, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum told PEOPLE that they were on good terms and focusing on their kids.
“We’re really amicable,” Spelling said at the time. “I know in Hollywood people think divorces have to be ugly, ours are not. We co-parent really well, we’re good friends, and he’s one of my biggest supporters.”
