18 Best Movies on Netflix to Watch Now (September 2025)
What started in everyone’s mailbox is now the go-to spot for movie night.
Netflix has come a long way from its DVD-by-mail days to become a streaming giant stacked with the buzzy new releases and top-performing originals.
Still, even with curated categories, figuring out what to watch can sometimes take as long as the movie itself. Luckily, we’ve rounded up the best picks to match your every mood and taste.
Whether you’re in the mood for heist favorites akin to the Now You See Me film franchise, ha-ha-ha hysterical movies similar to the 2024 sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice or something more heartwarming in the vein of 2024’s The Wild Robot, here are the best movies currently streaming on Netflix.

Now, a grown-up Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder) faces new and familiar frights after her equally goth daughter, Astrid (Jenna Ortega), opens a portal to the Netherworld and reawakens everyone’s favorite pinstriped ghost.
