The Jonas Brothers made their latest tour stop a boy band affair.
On Saturday, Sept. 6, the “Leave Before You Love Me” singers surprised the audience at their show at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif., by bringing out another beloved boy band, 5 Seconds of Summer.
“We’ve known them for a couple years now. We’ve had a lot of mutual collaborators as well,” Joe Jonas, 36, told the crowd.
He continued, “But deep down, these are just great people. And we love seeing great people win when they’re out there doing their thing. Even if they’re from a different country… our friends, your friends, make some noise for our boys 5 Seconds of Summer.”
After the show, the Jonas Brothers hopped on a TikTok trend where Joe, Nick, 32, and Kevin, 37, were sitting in the audience before the show, and Nick posed a question: “Do you think they’re going to play ‘She Looks So Perfect’ by 5 Seconds of Summer?”
Joe responded: “No, this is a Jonas Brothers concert, silly goose.”
Then, the video flashed to the band standing side-by-side onstage as they rocked out to 5SOS’ 2014 hit song.
In the comments section, 5SOS commented, “legends!!”
The two bands were last seen together in 2019 at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball in London. At the time, they were both on the bill to perform, and 5SOS’ Michael Clifford shared a group photo they took backstage on X.
“I love watching these guys put their incredible energy back out into the world again. I love the Jonas Brothers,” he wrote.
Earlier in the night at Saturday’s L.A. show, the Jonas Brothers brought out John Legend for a “legendary” performance. The singer, 46, treated fans to his hit 2013 song “All of Me” and then joined the band for a performance of “I Believe,” which was featured on their 2019 album, Happiness Begins.

The Jonas Brothers also invited Ryan Cabrera out for a performance of his 2004 hit “On the Way Down,” and welcomed Plain White T’s to play their 2005 song “Hey There Delilah.”
Up next, the band will perform in West Valley City, Utah, and will continue to make stops throughout the country, before wrapping their tour in Uncasville, Conn., on Nov. 14.
