Nassourdine Imavov vs. Caio Borralho best bets
A solid card is on tap this weekend in Paris.
The UFC returns to Europe for a card this weekend beginning at noon ET on ESPN+.
A rather drawn-out card featuring 14 fights is on tap, with most of the bouts featuring European fighters.
Eight of the 14 fights are projected to go the distance, so prepare for a potential long night at the office if you’re looking to bet on some or all of these fights.
UFC Fight Night Paris predictions
Nassourdine Imavov vs. Caio Borralho
Two fighters who were always talented and are now improving rapidly, Nassourdine Imavov faces Caio Borralho in what was once expected to be a middleweight title eliminator.
But much has changed in the division in short time.
Alexander “Fluffy” Hernandez put up an incredibly impressive performance and put himself in the thick of title contention.
And, of course, we have a new champion in Khamzat Chimaev.
Whoever wins, they will need to put up a big-time performance to steal back a title shot.
The stakes really couldn’t be higher between these two fighters and I expect this fight to be a legitimate war.
I think Imavov is the side to target in terms of betting value.

This profile is a major step up in competition for Borralho, and he’s a younger fighter, while Imavov is in his prime.
Get your popcorn ready. These two are going for war with the chance to fight for a title on the horizon and potentially make millions of dollars.
Borralho might not have the grappling edge that he thinks, and Imavov has moments of excellence on the feet.
He has also has a big size advantage.
Target Imavov on the moneyline and also all of the Overs in significant strike props that you can get your hands on.
I suspect a five-round war that Imavov ultimately takes.
PICK: Imavov ML (+110, Fanatics) | Imavov Over 78.5 significant strikes (-120 DraftKings)
Benoit Saint-Denis vs. Mauricio Ruffy
In the lightweight division, Mauricio Ruffy fights Benoit Saint-Denis in a matchup that promises violence.
Ruffy is coming off an incredible spinning wheel kick knockout over Bobby “King” Green last March.
Saint-Denis enters off multiple losses after nearly contending for a title.
His issue is poor striking defense.

The French Special Forces veteran has poor feints when entering into the danger zone on the feet.
If I thought Saint-Denis would grapple immediately off the rip, I’d consider betting on him, but this price gives him far too much credit for his willingness to avoid firefights.
This guy loves fighting with fire, and Ruffy is not the opponent to do that with.
Target the favorite to win by knockout.
PICK: Ruffy by KO/TKO in round 1 (+385, FanDuel)
