In the video, the boat eases into the water as it’s pushed by a construction lift. It was smooth sailing until the boat made it about 200 meters into the Black Sea. The yacht slowly began to tip on its left side.
Eventually, the vessel fully capsized. One person onboard climbed to the top of the ship before jumping into the water. Others are seen treading water while wearing their life vests.

According to Turkish Maritime Media, the yacht’s owner, captain and two crew members made it back safely to shore and no casualties were reported. An investigation into the incident has reportedly been launched.
The outlet valued the luxury yacht at 40 million Turkish liras, or just under $1 million. Construction on the nearly 80-foot-long Dolce Vento began at the shipyard in 2024, per Super Yacht Times. It is reportedly the biggest yacht ever built at the shipyard.

On June 4, a wave struck the back of a boat carrying dozens of tourists off the island of Nusa Lembongan, Bali, according to the Associated Press and NBC News. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. local time.
Local police told NBC that the waves caused the ship to “tilt to the left and lose balance.”
Footage of the vessel sinking shows passengers breaking through glass, the cabin filling with water and the boat tipping over as passengers were rescued by locals.
An American tourist named Lauren Dague, who was visiting Bali to celebrate her 24th birthday, had to break through a window with her foot to escape.

“There [were] babies, small children, old people. It felt like five minutes that it took for the entire boat to sink,” Dague told Good Morning America in a June 6 interview. “I just smashed the window with my foot. I didn’t even think twice about it. And I know for a fact I saved at least three to five, six other people with my decision.”
“People were just throwing themselves, just jumping across to the other boat,” she added. “There [were] people in the water between the boats and could have easily gotten smushed.”
A Klungkung Police spokesperson told the AP that the boat was completely evacuated by 6:30 p.m. and no casualties were reported.
