Kristen Bell shares pics in honor of Dax Shepard’s sobriety

Kristen Bell is congratulating her husband, Dax Shepard, on decades of sobriety.

The “Veronica Mars” actress shared never-before-seen photos of their private life, including images of the “Chips” actor hugging their daughters, Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 10. In one photo, Bell and her comedian husband locked lips for a passionate embrace.

A final photo showed the Emmy nominated actress, 45, gazing down at Shepard and one of their daughters as they shared an emotional hug.

“This is what 21 years of sobriety looks like,” Bell captioned the post on Thursday.

“Lots of hugging. Hugging everyone and everything. Hugging life. Thank you for getting sober, @daxshepard. I am eternally grateful to have you. We all are 💕.”

In July, Shepard took to the same platform to support the “Nobody Wants This” actress amid her Emmy nomination for the Netflix series.

The “Punk’d” alum shared a cheeky pic of his wife stripped down to nothing but socks while seemingly doing yoga on a patio — he strategically covered the actress’ rear with a heart emoji.

“People might not know everything that happens behind the scenes in order to create an Emmy nominated performance like Kristen’s,” Shepard joked in the caption. “This may or may not have been a part of her training, but it felt right. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!”

The “Frozen” star and Shepard have been open about the comedian’s sobriety journey, and how it has affected their family.

In a 2023 interview, Bell said she talks to their daughters about “the fact that their daddy is an addict and he’s in recovery.” Instagram/Kristen Bell

“I talk to my kids about drugs, and the fact that their daddy is an addict and he’s in recovery, and we talk about sex,” she told RealSimple in 2023.

“There are all these ‘hard topics’ that don’t have to be if you give the person on the other end your vulnerability and a little bit of credit.”

In 2020, Shepard revealed he’d relapsed on a couple of occasions — but was surprised by the support he received after admitting the misstep.

“[I’m] struggling with some fraudulent feelings of receiving love based on a f—k-up,” he said on an episode of his “Armchair Expert” podcast at the time. “But at any rate, I’m really, really grateful and there’s so many beautiful, nice people.”

Bell also shared her feelings amid Shepard’s public admission. “One of the main reasons I love him is he’s also addicted to growth,” she told Ellen DeGeneres on her since-cancelled talk show.

“He’s addicted to evolving. He was like, ‘I don’t want to risk this family, and I did, so let’s put new things in place to make sure it doesn’t happen again.’”
