Ice T and Coco Austin’s Daughter Chanel Sports Blue Hair for First Day of School

Ice T and Coco Austin’s little girl is officially a fourth grader!

On Thursday, Sept. 4, Austin shared an adorable photo on Instagram of her 9-year-old daughter Chanel as she posed before her first day of school. In the sweet picture, Chanel could be seen sporting blue streaks throughout her hair and holding up a homemade sign that read, “My First Day of 4th Grade!”

“First days of school are always sweet and bitter for me.. I hate to see her go but love to see her excited about school and to see her friends,” Austin wrote in her caption. “I hate to admit this but im [sic] jealous of school sometimes because they spend more time with her more than me during the year.”

“But im proud of the little human she has become,” she continued. “Love my @babychanelnicole #firstdayofschool2025🍎📝✂✏️📚 school #4thgrade.”

In August, Austin shared on Instagram that she’d let her daughter Chanel dye streaks in her hair blue. “The many faces of Chanel,” she wrote in her caption. “Had some fun with Chanel’s hair recently .. She’s been feeling the color blue lately💙.. So I finally gave in.. I asked her which is her favorite pic to post and she said all of them..lol.”

This past March, the proud mom stepped out with her daughter Chanel as the pair attended Cirque Du Soleil’s Luzia New York City premiere. While speaking with PEOPLE at the event, Austin said that while going to the circus is typically an outing the family of three would do together, the “Power” rapper was stuck filming on set.

“She really wanted to come and see a circus. Ice and I, we like to go to Vegas just to go to Cirque du Soleil and eat dinner. So, that’s our thing,” she told PEOPLE. “Ice is actually still trying to come tonight. He’s stuck on the set right now. So, we’re hoping that he can still make it because this is his thing too.”

Then in January, the Law & Order: SVU star, 67, shared a sweet photo of himself and Chanel on X. Fans were quick to comment that the doting dad looked strikingly similar to his daughter as they sat on what appeared to be stage equipment.

“At some point you realize there’s someone watching every move you make…. ❤️” Ice-T captioned the post.

Commenting on their recent photo, one fan wrote, “She looks just like you,” while another added, “Your Mini me.”
