Diane Kruger’s Capri Pants Combo Is So Smart: Get the Look

Yes, I wore capri pants back in the early 2000s. They were low-rise, tight-fitting, and the perfect complement to strappy heels and a sparkly “going out” top. (If you know you know.) 

Fast forward 25 years and now celebrities like Emma Stone, Hailey Bieber, and most recently Diane Kruger are putting a fresh spin on the look. They’re also demonstrating different ways to wear the polarizing trend, including capris cut with mid- or high-rise waists and streamlined tailoring. Kruger styled hers in a way that reminds me of Audrey Hepburn’s timeless Hollywood glamour: a crisp gingham vest and classic Mary Jane flats.

The flats are made from smooth faux leather and have a modern square toe and double straps — just like the pair Kruger wore. And the straps are adjustable so you get a secure fit and don’t slip when you walk.
