Breanna Stewart ‘snapping’ at Liberty is exactly what they need

SEATTLE — The Liberty were supposed to be this season’s top dogs.

But the target-on-the-back mentality hasn’t served this team well over the past 12 weeks, and perhaps it’s time for the hunted to become the hunters again.

So Breanna Stewart got real with her teammates before Thursday’s practice.

She said their lackluster play is “unacceptable.”
