The Kansas City Chiefs star, 35, received a warm welcome upon his arrival at the São Paulo airport in Brazil ahead of his first game of the 2025-26 NFL season against the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday, Sept. 5.
Kelce was swarmed by fans when he touched down in South America, as seen in a viral video. He happily interacted with the throngs of people cheering and high-fiving him as he made his way through the crowd.
The tight end, who arrived alongside Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, 29, and their teammates on Wednesday, Sept. 3, kept his cool and smiled as he connected with the fans that greeted him from behind barricades.

For his outfit, Kelce — who’s known for his game-day looks and style statements — kept his getup comfortable for travel.
The NFL star wore a beige, collared sweater, black shorts and topped his look off with a coordinating “T&K” hat from his newly released American Eagle collection. He sported brown and white Nike sneakers and accessorized with a duffle bag and a large suitcase.
Upon landing in Brazil, Kelce has been busy. He hit the field for practice with the team and spoke with media on Thursday, Sept. 4.
During the presser, the three-time Super Bowl champion spoke about his engagement to Taylor Swift, which they jointly announced in an Instagram post on Aug. 26.

Kelce was asked to describe how his “life has changed” and if it’s hard to focus while on the field.
Mahomes, who sat next to Kelce, chimed in before his teammate had a chance to respond.
“He’s engaged,” Mahomes told the reporter, resulting in an outburst of laughter from the tight end and the room full of media.
“There we go. Exactly,” added a beaming Kelce.
“I got one more ring from it,” he joked. “Well, two if we’re counting the first Super Bowl.”

“I would say, ever since I’ve been dating Taylor, life has been fun… It’s been exciting,” Kelce continued. “Obviously a lot more eyes and I accept that, but I’m living life. Living on a high, I guess.”
On Sept. 3, Kelce broke his silence on his engagement for the first time since the news was announced. In an episode of New Heights, he gushed about it alongside his brother and co-host Jason Kelce.
“I appreciate everybody that reached out and sent something and all the posts and all the excitement that’s been going on,” the Chiefs star said on the podcast. “It’s been really fun telling everybody who I’m going to be spending the rest of my life with.”
