Nets add forward E.J. Liddell as training camp looms
The rebuilding Nets continued to fill out their roster Wednesday as training camp approaches later this month, adding forward E.J. Liddell on a two-way contract.
Brooklyn also officially announced the two-year, $12 million deal the team agreed to with center Day’Ron Sharpe in June.
The 6-6 Liddell spent last season on a two-way deal with the Bulls, appearing in 12 NBA games.

He also played eight games for the Pelicans in 2023-24 after missing his entire rookie season with a torn ACL in his right knee, suffered in the 2022 summer league
The 24-year-old Liddell was a second-round pick (41st overall) by New Orleans that year out of Ohio State.

Sharpe, a 2021 first-round pick of the Phoenix Suns, posted career highs in his fourth season with the Nets in minutes (18.1 per game), points (7.9) and rebounds (6.6) in 50 games last season.
The announcement of his deal was delayed for salary-cap advantages.
