Kylie Kelce Shares Husband Jason’s Early ‘Beige Flags’

Kylie Kelce is sharing the “beige flags” her husband Jason Kelce first brought into their relationship.

On the most recent episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast, the mother of four answered questions from fans, including how she got adjusted to living with her now-husband when they first began dating.

Joking, she said, “Jason’s beige flags came up when we started dating, and we weren’t even living together.”

“And it got to a point where I said to him, I’m just gonna I’m gonna take your laundry home, and I’m gonna do it because it seems like you’ve half done three loads,” she continued.

She also gave a descriptive peek into what Jason’s room at the time looked like when the pair first got together.

“When we first met, Jason didn’t have a dresser. Let me tell you what was in his bedroom. A bed. Period,” she revealed.

Giving more color to the description of Jason’s barebones room, she described the “Christmas lights around the top” of his room that functioned in lieu of the room’s overhead lighting. The same strand of Christmas lights has since even made its way into the Kelce’s current home.

“He couldn’t turn the lights on by a switch. He had to plug them into the wall,” she laughed.

“So when I tell people this, when I tell people the state that my husband was living in when we first met and they say, ‘And you still dated?’ I want you to understand how unbothered of a human being I am. I couldn’t care less.”

In fact, Kylie found the whole setup to be “hilarious,” saying that Jason’s lack of interest in interior design ended up leading to one of their first bonding experiences as a couple.

“One of our biggest early on bonding experiences was going to the store to get him a lamp,” she laughed. “Wait for it. The lamp doubled as a bedside table because it was a square lamp, a standing lamp, a floor lamp that had a shelf so that he could put things on it like a bedside table. I find that to be hilarious.”

Kylie also shared her appreciation for Jason’s lack of bedroom window curtains.

“So at six in the morning when the sun came up, he was up and he liked that,” she explained. “And quite honestly, as a morning person, I can appreciate that.”

But, overall, living with Jason was good for Kylie, with her saying, “I loved living with Jason. I still do.”

On the episode, the 33-year-old mother of four also opened up about what the preparation for her eldest daughter, Wyatt’s first day of kindergarten, has been like, getting candid about her mixed emotions.

“Officially a mom of a kindergartener. I’m still not sure I’m okay with that,” she admitted, adding, “You know what’s f—– up? My baby is suddenly old enough to be a kindergartener. Oh my god. No. Oh, I don’t like calling her a baby and then saying she’s going to kindergarten.”

Kylie, who is also mom to daughters Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finn, 5 months, with husband Jason Kelce, added that she’s “not feeling great about it,” admitting, “It makes me sad. I swear she just came out, so it’s kind of weird to send her to school, like, officially.”
