Burger King Launches $5 Value Deal, but It’s Only Around for 2 Days

Burger King’s latest meal deal will make customers sing.

From Saturday, Sept. 6, to Sunday, Sept. 7, fans can swing by the fast food restaurant for a $5 meal deal tied to the 2025 MTV VMAs.

In honor of Sunday’s awards show, reward members can get a Small Bacon Cheeseburger Meal and Frozen Cotton Candy Cloud for $5. The meal consists of a Bacon Cheeseburger and small-sized fries.

The neon drink returned to Burger King menus earlier this summer after having first debuted in April 2024. The blended drink is the official frozen drink of the 2025 MTV VMAs, according to a press release, and combines a raspberry and cotton candy-flavored frozen base with a creamy cold foam topping.

Customers have three more opportunities to grab some back-to-school freebies from BK.

Make a stop during your carpool to score some food freebies in the hours before and after class until Friday, Sept. 5.

In the mornings, fans can snag free large Hash Browns from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. with any purchase of at least $1.

After dismissal, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., customers who spend at least $1 can receive a 4-piece Mozzarella Fries for free.

The deals continue next week as McDonald’s brings back its Extra Value Meals.

The fast food chain will be rolling out Extra Value Meals nationwide starting on Monday, Sept. 8. There will be eight discounted meal options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Extra Value Meals will include options like the Sausage McMuffin with Egg, Big Mac, 10-piece Chicken McNuggets and any variety of the McCrispy Sandwich (Original, Deluxe, or Spicy Deluxe).

 Each meal will save customers 15% compared to purchasing the entree, fries and a drink individually, per a press release. 

Plus, there are two special deals to celebrate the discount release. Starting on Monday, fans can get a $5 Sausage McMuffin with Egg meal, which comes with hash browns and a small coffee, or an $8 Big Mac meal that includes medium fries and a medium soft drink.
