NY couple caught ‘hot-boxing’ car with 2-year-old in the backseat outside Miami Beach hotel

An upstate New York couple got busted for “hot-boxing” a car with marijuana outside a well-known Miami Beach hotel — with a 2-year-old boy trapped in the back seat, according to a report.

Phillip Fraisar, 36, from Hamlin, and Kasey Renee Buckmann, 27, of Rochester, were allegedly caught puffing with the windows rolled up and sipping on tequila while parked outside the Clevelander Hotel on Sunday night, according to Local 10.

Fraisar’s 2-year-old son was in the back of the car as it filled with smoke, prompting passersby to call the authorities.

“The marijuana smoke filled the vehicle, as is commonly referred to as hot-boxing,” police said in a statement to the outlet.

Cops came and took possession of a “large clear bag of marijuana” rashly tucked under the driver’s seat and a pistol which was in the automobile’s glove box.

Both adults are facing child abuse charges.

Buckman was hit with additional charges of marijuana possession and Fraisar is also facing a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Records show that Fraisar was booked in Elmira Correctional Facility in 2015 on attempted criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.
