Novak Djokovic fends off Taylor Fritz at US Open
The American men are done at the U.S. Open.
Taylor Fritz proved to be no match — again — for Novak Djokovic, who won, 6-3, 7-5, 3-6, 6-4, in the quarterfinals at Arthur Ashe Stadium on Tuesday night.

The title drought for American men is now at 22 years since Andy Roddick won the Grand Slam in 2003.
Fritz made it interesting late in the fourth set but remains without a win in his career over Djokovic, who advances to face Carlos Alcaraz in the semifinals.
