My Go-To Adidas Sneakers Are on Sale for 2 More Days
At the beginning of the year, I had never owned a pair of Adidas sneakers. Now, nine months later, I’ve been able to test out three different styles, and I have found my go-to in the Nora.
While I love every pair I own, the Nora sneakers are the most supportive with their firm footbed and subtle arch. They also have a cushioned outer that has never caused a blister, even when worn right out of the box, and they go with virtually everything in my closet.
Right now, you can snag them on sale as part of Adidas’ extended Labor Day sales.

For me, the most impressive thing about the sneaker is how it balances support and comfort without feeling too plush. Personally, I avoid bouncy, highly cushioned footbeds that throw off my balance and don’t feel natural. The Nora’s footbed is my ideal with a solid insole, even platform, and the right amount of cushion. It’s firm and doesn’t make me feel like I’m walking on bubble wrap. Plus, there is built-in arch support that gently cradles my foot without pushing up into the bend in an uncomfortable way. I was able to walk a mile in them without my feet ever aching.
They also don’t rub blisters. The opening is cushioned from the sides of the tongue all the way around the heel for 360 degrees of padding that prevents the seams and back leather piece from rubbing against my heels and top of my foot. Even while wearing a pair of no-show socks with no barrier between my skin and the shoe, there was zero friction.
Admittedly, I could never love a pair of sneakers if I didn’t like the way they looked, even if they were the most comfortable shoes in the world. The Nora has a simple, classic look with the iconic Adidas stripes, a colorful back leather panel, a round toe box, and a low-top design, which allows me to style them with a wide range of outfits. While my white and blue pair is sold out, I love the overall look so much that I’m considering purchasing the brown and blue colorway as a fall option.
If you’re looking for sneakers you can wear right out of the box, won’t cause blisters, and don’t cause aching feet even after walking for miles, the Adidas Nora has my highest endorsement, but if you want to get your own pair, act fast. Adidas’ extended Labor Day sale ends September 4.
