Megan Thee Stallion tried some very spicy ramen noodles with a few members of K-pop group Billlie on her new series, KPOPPED, but she soldiered through the heat.

During the pilot of the new series, which was filmed in Seoul, Korea, the “Hiss” rapper is taken to a snack-focused shop by Billlie members, Sheon, Siyoon and Moon Sua. When Megan first enters the store, she’s immediately drawn to a colorful wall filled with Samyang Buldak ramen noodle packages.

“This is like a futuristic noodle, gas station, convenience store,” she said, looking around. “This is a good idea for my kitchen, actually. I’mma do my kitchen like this.”

When Sheon asked Megan the level of spice she enjoys in her ramen noodles, Megan confirmed, “Like set my mouth on fire,” adding, “Real hot. I want to be a dragon!”

As the members browse the wall of ramen with Megan, they ultimately land on the Hot Chicken flavor that comes in the black bag.

“This looks serious,” said the artist, but proceeded to the water station where the foursome poured boiling water, along with all the seasonings that came in the bag with the noodles, into their bowls of noodles to cook.

Once the noodles were ready to eat, Megan was the first to try. Initially, the spice was subtle; however, once it picked up, the star made unpleasant faces, had to walk off the burning sensation, and even burped.

“Is it spicy?” the Billlie members asked, to which Megan tightly closed her eyes and walked off, responding, “Yes, and it just kicked in!”

In her confessional after the taste testing, the rapper noted that she’s “learning Billlie” and realized that they did not eat the incredibly spicy noodles themselves, despite making bowls along with the star.

“They put the spicy noodles to me, but they didn’t eat the spicy noodles,” Megan said. “They set me up.” In their aside, Sheon, Siyoon and Moon Sua laughed and only had one word to say, in unison: “Savage.”

KPOPPED, which debuted on Aug. 29 with eight 30-minute episodes, is a competition series where music acts from across Western genres remix their hit songs into K-pop versions, with support from members of popular K-pop groups.

The groups are split between two artists to practice and train with before performing in front of a live audience, who then vote for their favorite remix.

“It’s gonna be amazing,” Megan, who executive-produced this show alongside “Gangnam Style” singer PSY, said during the pilot. “This has never been done before. Have you seen it? Because I haven’t.”

The pilot stars Megan — who performs her song “Savage” with Sheon, Siyoon and Moon Sua — competing against the legendary Patty Labelle and her song “Lady Marmalade” with dance support from Billlie members, Suhyeon, Haram, Tsuki and Haruna.

All eight episodes of KPOPPED, hosted by comedian Soojeong Son, can be viewed on Apple TV+.
