On Tuesday, Sept. 2, the 50-year-old member of the Backstreet Boys took to social media to mark his and Leighanne’s 25th wedding anniversary.
In a post on Instagram, which opened with a photo of Brian and Leighanne, 56, smiling while posing in bike helmets, he reflected on being “still strong” 25 years into their union.
“Thank you @leighanne_littrell for loving me for me… You have made everything complete, strong, solid, grounded, and rooted in LOVE!!! At all times, even when it gets rough!!!! I love you so much, thank you for blessing my life today and forever…🍾❤️💕 Happy Anniversary 🥂,” he wrote in the glowing caption.

His wife shared her own post on Instagram to reflect on their time together.
“TWENTY FIVE YEARS Married and 28 years together! Happy Anniversary 🎉Wow💍We have been through it and back again,” Leighanne reflected. “Making every situation as good as we can and having fun in the process! It takes a lot to know what’s love🎶 (song game) see what I did there? 🥳 any who! It’s been a ride and we are still rollin! 💕🙏🏻🥂.”
She concluded, writing, “Cheers to 25 years.”
Leighanne’s post featured even more photos of the loving couple over the years, including several of them in Halloween costumes and a few from red carpet events that they attended.
It ended with a video that they took together. In it, Brian growls for the camera while standing behind his wife. The couple breaks out in laughter and happy smiles as the clip continues.
Brian and Leighanne met on the set of the music video for the Backstreet Boys hit “As Long as You Love Me” in 1997. After exchanging vows in 2000, they went on to welcome their son Baylee Littrell, now 22.
Their son is following in Brian’s musical footsteps and appeared on the 23rd season of American Idol in early 2025.
“He was just texting me last night, going, ‘Dad, dude, how do you do this? Like, it’s hard work,’ ” Brian told Today in February. “He’s been busting his butt, and I’m super proud of him. He kind of gets a new sense of reality of what this is.”

Brian was on hand to support Baylee during his audition for the show, which aired on March 9. During it, he sang an original song called “Waiting on Myself to Die” and even had a chance to harmonize with his famous dad in front of the judges.
After making the Top 20 on the show, Baylee was eliminated during the April 21 episode. However, his dad made it clear how proud he and Leighanne were.
“Bubba I am and always will be in your corner. You’d are so strong and so very talented, and inspire me every day. It’s never the end, only the beginning for so many to be blessed by your gifts….. you killed it last night. 🔥❤️” Brian wrote in the comments section of a post on Instagram.

The couple spoke with PEOPLE in 2020 while celebrating another landmark anniversary — their 20th.
“Who would’ve thunk it? We did it!” he said, with Leighanne adding, “Especially in Hollywood and in this industry, 20 years is like 100 years, actually.”
Brian credited their success to “a lot of communication and a lot of trust.”
“Nothing is ever peachy keen and perfect all the time, but being able to grow together instead of growing apart is the big thing,” he added.
As a member of BSB, Brian is currently performing in a Las Vegas residency at the Sphere.
