Who Is Kaia Gerber’s Boyfriend? All About Marvel Actor Lewis Pullman

While Kaia Gerber has continued to take on on-screen roles in films like Bottoms and Saturday Night, the model and actress typically keeps her off-screen relationships on the more private side  — including while spending time with her boyfriend, Lewis Pullman.

The pair first sparked dating rumors in January 2025, but the Thunderbolts* star was quick to avoid answering questions about his girlfriend at the time.

Despite the two keeping things quiet, Gerber’s parents, supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, have already hit it off with the actor, a source told PEOPLE in June 2025.

“Lewis has met Kaia’s parents, and they really like him,” the source said, adding that things between the pair are “going great.”

“Kaia and Lewis have been spending a lot of time together, and things feel easy and natural between them,” they said. “Kaia’s really into Lewis, and things are going great.”

Pullman’s dad, actor Bill Pullman, is already acquainted with Crawford and Gerber as well, per the source, “Cindy and Rande have met Bill over the past years at social events, and they’ve gotten along really well.”

Pullman grew up in Los Angeles

Pullman was born on Jan. 29, 1993, to parents Bill Pullman and Tamara Hurwitz. His sister Maesa, born in 1988, is a singer-songwriter, and his brother Jack, born in 1989, is a puppet and mask designer.

In 2011, Pullman graduated from Wildwood School in Los Angeles. He went on to attend Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, N.C., where he graduated in 2015 with a degree in social work.

Pullman started acting in 2013

Pullman’s acting career began in 2013 with a series of roles in short films. Both he and his dad appeared in 2017’s Battle of the Sexes together, and the actor has credited Bill with helping him navigate his career.

“He knows what gets me excited, what makes me nervous, what scares me,” he told PEOPLE in May 2023. “And then he also has so much experience in the business and with the craft. So all of his advice is catered towards me. I don’t know where I’d be at without it.”

His filmography has continued to grow over the years, starring in 2018’s Bad Times at the El Royale, 2022’s Top Gun: Maverick and 2024’s Skincare. As for TV, he starred in Apple TV+’s Lessons in Chemistry alongside Brie Larson, a role for which he earned an Emmy and Critics’ Choice nomination.

He will reprise his Thunderbolts* role of Robert “Bob” Reynolds, a.k.a. the Sentry in Avengers: Doomsday in 2026.

He’s been linked to Gerber since 2025

The actor and model first sparked romance rumors in January 2025 when they were spotted together at Pullman’s 32nd birthday party at the Los Angeles restaurant Salazar.

Bill was also in attendance during the celebration. A source told PEOPLE at the time that the pair had “been spending time together the last few weeks.”

“They’re a cute couple and very low-key,” the source added. Representatives for both Gerber and Pullman did not return PEOPLE’s request for comment at the time.

He and Gerber have “chemistry”

Gerber and Pullman’s first sighting came soon after reports that the model and actor Austin Butler had called it quits after more than three years together.

She has previously been linked to Pete Davidson and Jacob Elordi. Meanwhile, Pullman was in a relationship with Rainey Qualley from 2020 to 2022.

An insider told PEOPLE in June 2025 that the two met through mutual friends in their shared social circles.

“Everyone says Kaia and Lewis have great chemistry, and she loves how grounded and genuine he is,” the source said.

They added, “Lewis has a different vibe from some of Kaia’s exes, and she really appreciates that. He’s very low-key, and she likes that he’s not caught up in the spotlight. He just has this calm, down-to-earth energy, and she finds it really comforting.”

Pullman and Gerber attended Venice Film Festival together

Though Gerber and Pullman have mainly kept their relationship private, the two stepped out together at the Venice International Film Festival, where they were photographed on a number of occasions.

During one PDA-packed date night, the two were spotted getting handsy and sharing a kiss. The following day, Gerber accompanied Pullman to the premiere of his movie, but they did not pose on the carpet together.

However, the couple were once again spotted kissing as they twinned in coordinating black looks.

His dad is also an actor

Bill has been acting in movies since 1986, with roles in films such as Spaceballs, Sleepless in Seattle and Independence Day.

Pullman has said he would consider portraying some of his dad’s characters one day, like Dr. James Harvey in Casper and Jack Callaghan in 1995’s While You Were Sleeping — but there’s a catch.

“That’s sacred grounds to step on, especially something as beloved as Casper,” the Marvel star told PEOPLE in October 2024. “I would [do] a prequel where I play him younger.”

He added, “I would love to do While You Were Sleeping, but in maybe their children that they have … something else happens, where I play their son. I would never want to step into the shoes of Pop. Can’t outdo what he did. I wouldn’t even try.”
