When is ‘Alien: Earth’ Episode 5 Coming Out?
Alien: Earth shifts perspectives this week, as the FX hit goes back in time to show us exactly what caused the USCSS Maginot to crash in the first place.
Teasers for Alien: Earth Episode 5 “In Space, No One…” confirm that this week’s episode of the sci-fi thriller will take place 17 days before the Maginot arrived on Earth. We see Morrow (Babou Ceesay) woken up from cryosleep to deal with some sort of crisis aboard the ship. As we know from the series cold open, at least one alien species — the Xenomorph — got loose, creating carnage on the Weyland-Yutani vessel.
Because we’re moving back in time for the next episode of Alien: Earth, we’re hitting pause on Wendy (Sydney Chandler), Hermit (Alex Lawther), and the rest of the Lost Boys’ stories for a hot minute. Instead, we’re reconnecting with the USCSS Maginot crew, which includes Zaveri (Richa Moorjani), Rahim (Amir Boutrous), Chibuzo (Karen Aldridge), and other Weyland-Yutani employees. Will any of these crew members survive? Are there new twists to discover? Will we get to see more creepy stuff from the FX show’s four new alien species? What can we expect in this week’s all-new episode, written and directed by series creator Noah Hawley?
