Simone Biles is sharing a look inside her nearly-finished Texas home!
After more than two years of construction, the waterfront mansion that Biles, 28, and her NFL star husband Jonathan Owens, 30, have been building together appears to be one step closer to being move-in ready.
The Olympic gold medalist offered a mini tour inside her new home on her Instagram Stories while also sharing an update on the construction progress.
In the first shot, she noted that she’s “making some minor aesthetic adjustments” in one space, which has light wooden detailing and shelves installed on the wall. A statement light fixture can also be seen hanging from the ceiling.

In the next slide, she offered a look at an accent wall with the same wood detailing. The long paneling stretches out toward a door that seemingly leads outside.
However, Biles admitted in the next shot that the adjustments she’s making might not be as minor as she hoped.
“& by minor I meannnnn…” she added in white text over a photo of another room in her home. The space still appears to be under construction, as wires can be seen sticking out of the walls and ceilings, while wooden boards cover the floors.

In the background, two people are pictured working on another wooden installation in the corner of the room.

Biles and Owens tied the knot in April 2023 and the Courage to Soar author started documenting the progress of their new abode on social media in September.
She captioned the post, “Loading… 🏠🤍🛠,” and included a photo of herself sitting on the stairs in the bare bones property, as well as a shot of Owens walking through the space.

A month later, she shared an exterior shot of the home that revealed the stunning scenery outside.
“This is my favorite view,” she wrote over a snap of large glass sliding doors that opened out to a back patio area. From the photo, the home seemingly sits directly beside a body of water and is surrounded by lush greenery.

During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in May, Biles explained how she and Owens have been involved in the design process: “I think we’ve done a good collab of what we wanted our house to look like,” she said at the time.

She also noted that she’s hoping they can “move in soon,” and noted that they’ve had some setbacks with their original schedule.
“We were supposed to be in before the Olympics, and unfortunately that wasn’t the case,” she said. “So we’re just waiting for the weather to die down. We’re just… we’ll see.”
