An Oklahoma stepfather has been charged with child sexual abuse and child neglect after an 11-year-old girl became pregnant and gave birth in August, according to multiple reports.

Authorities allege they have determined through DNA testing that the girl’s stepfather, Dustin Walker, is the baby’s father.

The stepfather, 34, was initially charged alongside the girl’s mother, Cherie Walker, 33, with one felony count of child neglect after the girl gave birth to a full-term baby at the family’s home on Aug. 16, according to NBC News, KJRH, and KTUL.

But, according to NBC, the stepfather was later charged with child sexual abuse last Monday after a DNA test showed a 99.9% probability that he was the father. In addition, Cherie was charged with enabling child sexual abuse, according to KTUL.

Both were held in Muskogee County Jail on a $100,000 bond, according to KJRH. But county jail records reviewed by PEOPLE show the parents are no longer in custody as of Sept. 2.

KJRH reported that the 11-year-old and her five siblings have been removed from the Walkers’ home.

The outlet reported that Muskogee police also charged a woman, Michelle Justus, who they allege is connected to the child, with six counts of child neglect — one for each of the six kids living in the house, between the ages of 2 and 11.

Justus spoke with reporters from KJRH outside the family’s home last week, claiming that her daughter and son-in-law “love” the children. She also claimed the 11-year-old girl told her she was impregnated by a 12-year-old boy. “She keeps telling everybody that it was him,” Justus told KJRH. “They got curious. That’s all I know.”

Muskogee County Assistant District Attorney Janet Hutson told NBC that the case is “one of the most if not the most serious child sexual abuse and neglect cases I have ever prosecuted.”

Hutson added in an interview with KJRH: “I was horror-stricken to find out it’s an 11-year-old little girl who’s given birth. And that she had no medical care, and she had no one to be with her.”

The parents’ next court hearing is set for Sept. 3, according to NBC.
