‘Nobody 2’ Comes to Digital, But When Will ‘Nobody 2’ Be Streaming Free on Peacock?

Bob Odenkirk is kicking butt and taking names in Nobody 2, which is coming to digital platforms to buy and rent this weekend. Wouldn’t you do the same, if someone was trying to ruin your vacation?

The 2021 action thriller, Nobody, starring Odenkirk—best known as Saul Goodman on Breaking Bad and its spin-off, Better Call Saul—was a surprise hit for Universal, relatively speaking, considering the film came out in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. So it makes sense that the studio would order up a sequel, now that the film has a chance to actually draw real audiences to theaters.

Director Timo Tjahjanto takes over for Ilya Naishuller (who directed the first film), while OG screenwriter Derek Kolstad co-wrote the script with Aaron Rabin. Odenkirk is back as Hutch Mansell, a retired assassin who just wants to enjoy his vacation. But the bad guys aren’t making it easy.

Also starring Connie Nielsen, RZA, Colin Hanks, John Ortiz, Mckenna Grace and Sharon Stone, Nobody 2 is one last blast of summer action before the fall, and now you can watch it at home. Read on to find out where to watch Nobody 2 online, and when Nobody 2 will be streaming free on Peacock.

Where to watch the Nobody 2 movie on streaming:

Beginning on Tuesday, September 2 at 12 a.m. Eastern Time (which is also September 1 at 9 p.m. Pacific Time) Nobody 2 will be available to buy and rent digitally on Amazon PrimeApple TVFandango At Home, and more. The price may vary depending on which platform you use to purchase the film, but on Amazon Prime the film costs $29.99 to buy a digital copy, and $24.99 to rent. If you rent the movie, you’ll have 48 hours to watch the movie after hitting “play.”

Nobody 2 is not yet streaming on any subscription streaming services, but we do expect to see Nobody 2 streaming on Peacock soon, because it is a Universal movie and Peacock is the streaming service owned by Universal.

Peacock currently offers two subscription types: Premium with ads and Premium Plus ad-free. Peacock Premium costs $10.99/month, while Premium Plus costs $16.99/month.

You can save a bit by subscribing to one of Peacock’s annual plans, which give you 12 months for the price of 10. These cost either $109.99 with ads or $169.99 without ads.

When will the Nobody 2 movie be streaming on Peacock?

The Nobody 2 streaming release date on Peacock has not yet been announced, but we know that Nobody 2 will stream on Peacock eventually because it is a Universal movie, and Peacock is the streaming service owned by Universal. All the new Universal theatrical movies end up streaming on Peacock, though the wait period has varied by title.

Another smaller Universal release, The Phoenician Scheme, began streaming on Peacock about two months after the movie opened in theaters. If Nobody 2 follows a similar release pattern, you might see the movie streaming on Peacock around mid-October 2025.

This is all speculation. Universal has not had a consistent digital release strategy. The Woman in the Yard, for example, took three months to stream on Peacock, rather than two. So it varies by title. If you want to watch the Nobody 2 movie right away, you can buy or rent a digital copy online.
