Did Lady Louise Windsor have someone special on the sidelines of her latest equestrian event?

On Aug. 30, King Charles‘ niece participated in the National Carriage Driving Championships at the Ashfields Carriage and Polo Club in Great Canfield, Essex, where she was joined by her rumored boyfriend, Felix da Silva-Clamp.

In photos obtained by Hello! magazine, the pair shared a laugh behind the scenes and walked around the grounds together.

An onlooker told the outlet that Felix showed his support for Lady Louise, 21, by “cheering and clapping from the sidelines.”

The onlooker said that Felix “did a fist pump as she went through the water” and was “keen to see [Lady Louise] progress in the sport.”

Hello! reported that Felix was “protective” of Louise and that the pair had a “nice lunch” before the event kicked off.

Lady Louise has followed in the footsteps of her late great-grandfather, Prince Philip, by pursuing a passion for the sport of carriage driving, and Felix has attended her competitions previously. Over the summer, Felix was spotted supporting Louise on the sidelines of the Sandringham Horse Driving Trials on June 27 and 29.

He was photographed watching the competition with her mom, Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, and Penny Knatchbull, a royal family friend who was close with the late Prince Philip and shared his interest in carriage driving.

The Duchess of Edinburgh (a keen carriage driver herself!) was in proud mom mode as she filmed on an iPhone, while Felix and Penny watched Louise race to third place.

Cameras also captured a fleeting instance of possible PDA between Felix and Louise at the event on June 27, when he put a hand on her shoulder as they walked in step together.

According to the Daily Mail, Felix and Louise met at the University of St. Andrews, where she follows in the footsteps of her cousin, Prince William, by attending the college in Scotland.

Lady Louise and Felix have been linked as an item for about two years and are said to share a passion for theater, reportedly performing in plays at school together.

The eldest child and only daughter of Prince Edward and Sophie, Louise and her younger brother James, Earl of Wessex, 17, are central members of the royal family but live their lives outside of the limelight.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh opted not to give their children prince and princess titles, and Sophie previously told The Times, “We try to bring them up with the understanding they are very likely to have to work for a living.”
