Kim Kardashian sparks debate over controversial parenting take

The Kardashian clan has sparked another parenting debate — this time over Kim Kardashian’s controversial views about homework.

“I don’t believe in homework,” the reality star, 44, said during an appearance on Kai Cenat’s “Mafiathon 3” livestream over the weekend.

“But I’m going to tell you why. Kids are in school for eight hours a day,” added Kardashian, who shares kids North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, with ex-husband Kanye West.

“When they come home, they need to also — they do sports, have a life, spend time with their family. I think that homework should be left for in school.”

The Skims co-founder’s take on homework sparked mixed reactions on social media.

“Of course someone who paid to get their homework done would say that,” wrote one user.

“Well, homework doesn’t stop kids from doing all that she mentioned, I sometimes did my homework before leaving school back in the days,” added another.

“ya when you aint gotta compete in life and already got [millions] for life on birth its pointless,” claimed a third person.

Several fans also defended Kardashian’s take, including one netizen who tweeted the Hulu star had “a valid point.”

“I think a little educational exercise outside of school to keep you on your toes and be ready for work out of work environments in life is good but when we was at school the load was ridiculous,” the supporter added.

“That’s actually a fair point. School already takes up most of the day, so letting kids breathe, be active, and have a social life outside academics makes sense. Balance matters more than overloading them with homework,” said a third agreer.

“There’s ways we function as a family that … it’s like if someone does the same thing every day. Like I do it with everything, it’s not about our family,” the Poosh founder, 46, told sister Khloé Kardashian on the latter’s “Khloé in Wonder Land” podcast.
