I love everything about fall — the cool weather, the seasonal flavors, and especially the clothes. That’s why I tapped personal stylist and style coach Samantha Dawn for her expertise on the best pieces to keep in a fall wardrobe.

Dawn detailed all sorts of functional fashion staples like layers, bags, boots, and more must-haves for the season, plus textures to experiment with for some fun flair. Levi’s 318 Shaping Wide-Leg Jeans

Dawn dubbed the divisive skinny jeans trend as an “out” this fall. Instead, she’s recommending  barrel-leg silhouettes and roomier wide-leg jeans like the styles we’ve spotted on Naomi Watts and Sofía Vergara. This popular pair from Levi’s is made from a soft and stretchy denim blend that multiple reviewers find comfortable. It also has a hidden tummy-control panel that smooths and offers support.
