Pink Says She Contracted E. Coli, Shares Photo of Herself with an IV

Pink is spending part of her summer recovering from a bacterial infection.

The “Just Give Me a Reason” singer, 45, is taking the sickness in stride, sharing a glimpse of her recovery in an Instagram post on Sunday, Aug. 31, complete with a photo of herself resting on a couch, legs crossed and wine glass in hand, while hooked up to an IV.

“This is all normal and everything is going well,” she wrote, adding, “When you go on vacation and have food and E. Coli decides to move into your gut, you kill it with friends and daughters and red wine and a vitamin IV concoction.”

E. Coli bacteria can cause diarrhea, stomach cramps, vomiting and fever, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

“Ahhh life and lemons and lemonade and great memories that I might remember,” Pink, who appears to be on the mend, added in the caption. It’s unclear where she was vacationing when she contracted the infection.

This isn’t the first time Pink has shared her health troubles.

Back in 2023, the singer-songwriter took to social media and said that a respiratory infection caused her to put her Summer Carnival Tour on pause and she needed to prioritize her health.

She also postponed other dates of the same tour due to another illness. “Hi everyone. I’m very sorry to report that I have come down with a bad sinus infection, and the doctor advised me not to perform tonight,” she said on Instagram at the time. “I am so disappointed. You know I do everything in my power to never miss a show.”
