John Cena celebrated his win over Logan Paul with a celebratory kiss with wife Shay Shariatzadeh.

On Sunday, Aug. 31, the 48-year-old WWE star, who is currently on his retirement tour, defeated Paul, 30, at the WWE Clash in Paris.

Cena’s win over Paul — who recently married model Nina Agdal in Italy on Aug. 15 — marks his 99th victory in a premium live event.

After the win, the wrestling legend immediately found his wife, 36, in the audience to celebrate his victory. The sweet moment was captured on camera and shared by The Movement Pro Wrestling on X.

Musicians Post Malone and Jelly Roll were also in attendance for Cena and Paul’s match. After Cena’s win, the artists congratulated the WWE star, as seen in video shared online.

After the match, Paul penned a reflection on why he wanted to fight Cena on his farewell tour.

“I wanted a match with John Cena to prove that I not only belong in the business but can bring the best out of the business,” Paul said on X. “Mission accomplished. For me, last night was peak professional wrestling.”

“Fair play to John, an absolute mastermind of the craft,” Paul continued. “He wrestles better than Pablo Picasso paints… idk if it’ll ever be understood how good he is. Although my hand wasn’t raised, I came away with more victories than I can count. Grateful.”

Cena and his wife recently shared a similar sweet moment in public at the Peacemaker season 2 red carpet premiere in New York City on Aug. 13.

PEOPLE caught the couple’s sweet kiss in between posing for red carpet shots and participating in interviews.

Speaking to PEOPLE on the red carpet at the event, Cena said his busy schedule has been keeping him from taking Shariatzadeh on regular date nights.

“We need a date night, honestly, like we really do,” Cena told PEOPLE at the time.

“Work has been demanding, and through communication, we understand what the calendar is and we navigate those paths as we see fit. [But] boy am I looking forward to after [the premiere] when I can have a date with my bride,” he added.

Cena shared that their next getaway will have a more romantic backdrop — Europe — where he’ll continue filming his new Netflix comedy Little Brother with Eric André.

He said he plans to take all the time he can get with Shariatzadeh.

“We may steal a second in Dublin. I know I got a chance over there,” he said. “We’re [also] headed to [France]. I’ll make sure to get in early so at least we can share a coffee in the street.”
