Denise Richards Joined by Daughters Eloise and Sami at Event amid Divorce

Denise Richards had her girls by her side as she stepped out to celebrate her cult classic film.
The actress, 54, attended a screening of her 1999 film Drop Dead Gorgeous at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, Calif., on Saturday, Aug. 30, and shared that she’d brought her daughters Sami and Eloise along with her.
As she gave a speech prior to the screening, Richards said, “I have two of my daughters here, Sami and Eloise, who are seeing it for the first time on a big screen.”
“I think one may be seeing it for the first time ever, but that’s good,” added the mom of three.

Richards later shared a photo with her daughter Eloise, 14, at the screening on Instagram. The mother-daughter duo could be seen posing together on a red couch, smiling as their photo was taken. Eloise held a can of Coca-Cola while Richards leaned in.
“About last night… big thanks to @academymuseum for letting us relive the camp and chaos of #DropDeadGorgeous on the big screen! Rebecca Leeman would be so proud👑🦢,” she wrote in her caption.
The actress shares Eloise, who was diagnosed with a deletion in chromosome 8 in 2016, with ex Aaron Phypers. Richards also shares daughters Lola, 20, and Sami, 21, with ex Charlie Sheen.
In August, Phypers claimed his adoption of ex Denise Richards‘ daughter Eloise was never made official. In court documents filed on Aug. 20 and obtained by PEOPLE, Phypers alleged family harm and claimed Richards had him sign adoption papers for Eloise, his “daughter by bond of over nine years,” but “failed to file them.”
Since filing for divorce from Richards in July following six years of marriage, Phypers said he’s been left “legally without his daughter despite raising her as his own.”
“This has caused immeasurable harm and demonstrates the imbalance [Denise] maintains in this matter,” he said.
