Breanna Stewart relishing being back with Liberty for WNBA playoff push

Breanna Stewart got her birthday wish.

At the Liberty’s practice Wednesday, teammates sang “Happy Birthday” as she danced and smiled in celebration of her 31st, among other things. 

Stewart is content with where things are in her nine-year career. The two-time MVP launched her “Stew York” fashion collection Wednesday and sold out three out of the four clothing items in just 10 minutes. Five hours after its release, every piece was gone while fans awaited a restock. 

More importantly, Stewart is relishing her Monday return from injury to be back with her teammates — two days before her stated birthday deadline — and the chance to help stabilize the Liberty in the middle of a wildly tight playoff race.
